On March 31st we welcomed our new donkey"Friday" to the Step Ahead farm. She has settled in nicely and the horses are adjusting to her just fine. She did get some funny looks and snorts upon her arrival, but she will be one of the herd in no time.
Here are some photos of her arrival and she's been with us a week now and she's making friends fast. You can see her getting used to the farm, rubbing noses with Tiz Better, saying hello to the mares in our front paddock. Soon she'll be loping around with them having a ton of fun and scaring away coyotes (hopefully)!
